Day 3: Beyond the Basics of BSA (Part 2) Agenda
Since risk assessments are the driving force behind your entire BSA program, understanding what they are, what should be included and how to write them are critical pieces to the development of your institution’s risk assessment. We will begin the day by covering those elements as well as types of risks to consider. The second half of the morning will be identification of data points, understanding your data and accurately measuring your risks. The morning will conclude with ways to ensure you are effectively presenting those risks to your SR Management and Board of Directors to enable them to understand the policy and procedures you have implemented to mitigate those risks.
The afternoon will cover three key topics: Human Trafficking, Virtual Currency and Cannabis. We will give definitions for each, recent regulatory updates, red flags, and program suggestions to assist you in managing the risks of all three of these areas.
Attendees will be given a variety of tools to enhance their Risk assessment and BSA program.
