This presentation will provide an overview of the open source and social media landscape before discussing the various ways this information can be identified and leveraged in the course of an investigation.

FBI Staff Operations Specialist

The presenter has been with the FBI for approximately ten years and has been working and teaching on open source/social media since 2015. She has exploited social media to further a variety of cyber, civil rights, organized crime, crimes against children, counterterrorism, and gang cases in Boston and other FBI field offices throughout the United States.
