Description

In this session, join our famed speaker, Mr. Watchlist, AKA Eric Sohn, CAMS, CGSS, as he provides an overview of the past year’s changes to “restrictive measures” (as the EU likes to call them) imposed on Russian and Belarusian interests. He will also provide a broader perspective on the geopolitics driving the reactions to these events, and his perspective on actions firms should consider to ensure compliance and risk management that will minimize regulatory risk – and the chance of being blindsided of what might come next.

Presenter:

Eric A. Sohn, CAMS, CGSS is Director, Algorithms for Dow Jones Risk & Compliance, bringing over 20 years’ worth of experience in the regulatory compliance field. He is Dow Jones’ subject matter expert on economic sanctions and anti-money laundering. Eric is the editorial lead for Sanctions Insights, Dow Jones’ weekly newsletter of sanctions news and analysis. In addition, he is responsible for Dow Jones’ text matching technologies used in its suite of regulatory compliance and risk management products. Before working for Dow Jones, Eric was Principal Engagement Manager for Accuity, where he provided subject matter and business process improvement expertise to clients around the globe.
